I added a new pages called Books…; one reason so I can keep track of what I have/have not read.
Haha nope, I'm not obsessed with Sherlock. Nope. Totally not. No way. Well… maybe just a tiny bit. xD

Winter Nationals continued
So we're back! And it was amazing. But extremely tiring, as we did nine quizzes in 25 hours, three of which were back to back. Anyway, here are some pics, and I'll explain as I go along:
So we walk in, and the room is HUGE. But really nice for a camp. (Did I mention it was at a camp? Well it is.)
There was this friendly gentleman greeting everyone. All we could think of was that part in a Little House on the Prairie episode where Jonathan Garvey yells "Where's my moose head?!"
Also this guy
#selfie waiting for the quizzes to start
Six quizzes… woah. The most we've ever had to do was 4. And never three of then back to back. (We're Team 4. The name is something about messing with the quizmasters heads, as there's only three teams quizzing at a time. xD)
Amazing antler chandelier. The rooms off to the sides there are some of the rooms in which you could stay, but we didn't. It's a good thing too, because the next day it started leaking everywhere in that building.
A quiz about to start.
Another quiz waiting to start. But the two other teams were late, so they asked random trivia questions, which Cindy and I joined in until the other teams arrived.
Yet another quiz
I'd post more pics, but it won't let me :(
We came in 8th out of 23 teams! Which is pretty good, considering that it was our first time at WinNats.
Fun story: We left early, because we did NOT want to get home at midnight. But there was an ice storm, and we slipped on the road a little bit. You know how men are always like "Oh no problem we can do it what's a little bit of ice"? Well my dad was just like "nope" and turned around. We got back to the camp ok, and everyone else was trying to leave. But three cars ended up in the ditch, so everyone stayed several hours until the sand trucks got there. Then we stayed in a Holiday Inn, and left Monday morning. And that is probably the thing I'll remember the most xD

Winter Nationals
So... WE'RE GOING TO CBQ WINTER NATIONALS. Yeah. I'm a tad excited xD If you don't know what that is, it's basically a Bible Quizzing meet, only much, MUCH bigger. And if you don't know what Bible Quizzing is, you're missing out. It's this thing where you memorize the Bible, and then get quizzed on it by sitting on these pads and lifting up your behind whenever you know the answer to a question that the quizmaster asks. Tons of fun. And I'm even more happy because I get two of the best quizzers on my team. Not that I'm too concerned about winning or anything... ;)
I will try to post pictures at some point tomorrow or Sunday :)

BOOKS
Ok, people. Sit down. This is my pulpit.
BOOKS. Glorious things, really. They're like TV, only in your head, to quote a rather famous telly host. You can read then for hours upon hours, without getting bored (unless you finish the book. Then get another). Books are just... amazing. Even the smell of books are amazing... I know that sounds weird, but it's true. And never let a book nerd go to a book store alone. Walking into Chapters alone is like letting five-year-olds loose, unattended, in a candy store. Really. I'd go broke, if someone wasn't there to stop me. Anyway, here are some (with stress on the some) of my favourites:
1: The Bible, of course. Always finding new things to learn.
2: LOTR/The Hobbit. I haven't read them all yet, but I will soon!
3: Eragon. Sigh. I've never ate up a book series so fast. But apparently tHERE'S GOING TO BE A FIFTH BOOK SO REJOICE
4: The Scarlet Pimpernel. Sir Percy is my acting role model. I mean, he should have been the actress, not Marguerite! Sheesh. But the 1982 movie is PERFECTION. Anthony Andrews and Jane Seymour were perfect.
5: Sherlock. All 56 short stories and 4 novels. All of them. Except that one (yes I'm going on this rant again) where tHE GIRL ALMOST MARRIED HER STEP DAD. COME ON. That was just... wrong on so many levels. I cried. Read the story to see for yourself. I'd give you the title, but I can't remember it at the moment.
I'm always looking for new stuff to read, so leave your favourites in the comments :)

Fanfics
I uploaded several of my Fanfictions. Please read them (they're short, don't worry), and tell me what you think!
There's no need to go overboard on the criticism for "A Big Mistake". I know... I know. I was 14 or 15. Forgive me.

Hi!
Hi there! Welcome to my blog :) You may or may not know that I have two other blogs, and they only have like two posts each. But THIS WILL BE DIFFERENT. I promise.... to try to post often, anyway. xD
To get started, here's one of those 10-fact about me thingys:
1: I'm 18. Yikes.
2: I still can't drive. Double yikes.
3: I've been playing piano for 13 years now. You'd think I'd be better, but no.
4: I'm a Christian.
5: I'm extremely sarcastic, especially over the internet. So if I go too far and I hurt you, I'm so sorry.
6: I. love. Tolkien. Just... no words. Too soon after The Battle of the Five Armies. THORIN MY BABY.
7: I'm half Greek. Spartan, to be exact. FEAR ME.
8: I'm one of those very few people who love Get Smart. WATCH IT , PEOPLE. IT'S AMAZING.
9: I have three little brothers and a little sister.
10: I've been in love with Jason Whittaker from Adventures in Odyssey since I was 10. Don't judge me. *hides*
Congrats! Now you know 10 things about me. xD
Cheers!
